Natalia Rak
“Butterfly Effect”
Opening on Thursday, October 15th
Exhibition runs October 16th to December 4th, 2015
The Polish artist, Natalia Rak (Lodz, 1986), presents her first exhibition in Spain at Montana Gallery Barcelona.
With a degree in Fine Arts and a passion for painting since childhood, Natalia tests different techniques and methods that fuse together with street art. The enormity of a wall seduces her and she unfurls storms of color onto them in return. She has been participating in the best festivals for several years now with her dreamlike, vibrant murals.
Marvel, Rockwell, or Giger are among her main sources of inspiration and through her work she tells us of her own reality and dreams from an ironic viewpoint.
Now, in Barcelona she presents, “Butterfly Effect”, a reflection of her magical and realistic world that is full of humor and mysteries. The vivid colors and refined details in her works provoke the viewer to regress back to childhood, causing a sensation of being settled in an intimate space somewhere between nature and the imaginary.
2 What do you think?
The style makes for me thought a shape of really well developed realism the artist in feel it of the detail.
