284 (TweeAchtFour) sent us this video in which he’s painting with 94 in a studio in Amsterdam, where he lives. He added some subtitles especially for us; thanks! And thanks also to the video’s editor, Helemaalloos, and the musical producer, Sonufex.

MALAKKAI “THIS DAY NEXT YEAR” ...

The artist, who is from Almeria but currently living in Barcelona, Isaac Malakkai, is opening “This Day Next Year” in The Gallery Tattoo, today, May 4th, from 7pm.

For this exposition, as he himself says, he “plays with acrylics, ink, water-colors, and his inseparable Bic pens, and concepts that revolve around doubt, indecision, desire, hate, and the uncertainty that has attacked us all at least once, but which we don’t accept”.

Here’s a little teaser, courtesy of the studio - Tiny Coffee Table - where he works along with the photographer from Girona, Brazo de Hierro; and some samples of the pieces he’ll be showing. “Dedicated to those that walk in circles without seeing the end”. Don’t miss it!

Over these few days, since the 30th of April on until the 5th of May, the ALL CITY CANVAS festival is happening in Mexico City.

European artists, as well as artists from North America and Mexico, come together to fuse their art in front of prime spots in Mexico City. Saner and El Mac, Aryz and Escif, Herakut and Interesni Kazni, Roa, Sego or Vhils are just some examples of who’ll be there.

There’s also a vast and interesting program of conferences and expositions, amongst which Jordi Rubio, founder and owner of Montana Colors, will take his place.

This fantastic initiative puts Mexico, once again, at the forefront of wall art, just like the Mexican grand masters and great muralists did 50 years ago, Diego de Rivera, Orozco, and Siqueiros.
