Eme (Murcia, 1983). A self-taught artist and illustrator with a passion for painting hidden and abandoned places carefully chosen for any type of occasion. Now she is back in Barcelona to present her first private solo show at Montana Gallery Barcelona.

After having travelled around Europe participating as an artist in many public events, Eme has now gotten to work on her exhibition titled “Horror Vacul“, all transformed within the space of the gallery itself. The shape of her work is a collection of sketches on paper where we can find a mix of images which through their popular symbolism portraits tales of empathy with a touch of nostalgia.

“Horror Vacul” is a message in few words but with many letters which speaks of curiosity, trust, courageousness and constancy.
