Welsch, meaning foreigner in Swiss, is the word used by the German speaking Swiss to refer to the French speaking Swiss, who often tend to enjoy their lazy reputation. Inok, Cesar, Weal, Asme, Teos, Jazi, Demes, and Yone are the members of this crew dubbed with an odd name that has recently been gaining attention in graffiti social media.
Almost all the members began their careers in the second half of the 90’s, except for Jazi and Asme, who started in the 80’s. Geneve, Lausanne, Neuchatel, and Sion are the places of origin of these writers unified by a name and style that’s difficult to define, yet has features from graffiti of the now.
