Tomorrow, Wednesday, the Moments Festival in Malaga (coastal city in the South of Spain) begins. It’s a nationally referential event in regards to the promotion and spreading of information related to underground and independent culture, with a strong focus on surf, skate, and contemporary pop art related content.
Montana Colors is collaborating in this edition with a workshop directed by Roberto Rodriguez, based on spray paint illustration techniques on hard surfaces (in this case, with Mtn Water Based), and another workshop titled, “Drawing Forever”, conducted by the renowned Californian artist, Tim Biskup.
There will also be a wide array of nationally and internationally produced documentaries being screened, among which we’d like to highlight, “Escenas del graffiti en Granada” (Wednesday the 21st at 5:05 PM) for it’s local subject matter.
While we’re on the topic of the program we’d like to point out “Génesis del graffiti en Málaga”; a meeting in the form of a debate that features several guest speakers including old school Malaga representatives such as MS1 from TCB crew, among other speakers.
Montana Colors will also have the opportunity to share its life story alongside graffiti and its writers, as well as its professional experience as a business that was founded over two decades ago.
We’ll take this opportunity to leave you with a video from the 2014 edition of the festival and encourage you to follow the link below to the festival’s website where you can find further information and programmed activities.
