THREE ACES: ABYSS

The new guest for our section ‘Three Aces‘ is Abyss. Come on!

‘TIME 4 CRIME’, Stockholm 2008

‘This was made by me and my good friend SKEN. We had over the years talked a lot about doing something really big, what we considered being a burner when we were kids. But also like a tribute to the heroes we grew up with like Circle, Wierd and Puppet from Sweden, and of course Seen. Its actually a illegal wall along the tracks so I had to climb down from the ladder every time the train passed by. We started to paint really early in the morning and finished the day after which was my birthday, a good birthday present to myself.‘

‘ABYZS’, Stockholm 2009

‘This was made on the legendary Solvalla wall on the K-Line in Stockholm. When I was a child and rode around on the commuter trains, this was one of the walls you didn’t want to miss. Some of Stockholm’s best burners was made on this wall. I as a child would probably never dreamed that 20 years later I would have the opportunity to paint it myself. It was like a dream come true.‘

‘One of my most recent pieces. It is usually the ones you like best. This was associated with the graffiti jam Back to the Style that I was invited to in Naples. A really good day, with really good weather, new friends and some of the best painters there is. One of these moments you’re really happy about choice of hobbies cause of what amazing people you meet through it.‘
