The natural artist from Sidney, Scott Marsh, is the most recent artist to be interviewed for the MTN Australia blog. Both for his technique and for some of the content of his paintings, we can glimpse a connection between this local artist and the world of graffiti. We’ll leave you with some of the published images and fragments of his interview.
‘Art has always been a passion of mine; I was always drawing as a kid and got heavy into graffiti during my teens. I finished a Bachelor of Fine art at Sydney’s College of Fine Arts in 2009 and have since chosen to focus my energy into my art full time.‘
‘My work incorporates different elements or pop, impressionism and traditional graffiti art. I learnt a lot more doing graffiti then I would have done in my time spent at university, and I think that has reflected in my work.‘
