Up until the 2nd of April, Montana Shop & Gallery Santiago has been given the pleasure to host the exhibition ‘Panic Attack‘ by Los Angeles writer Panic One.
‘The year 1982, during the military dictatorship of Chile, David “Panic” went from his home country together with parts of his family to the city of LA in the United States, this was the place where in 1985 he first got to be introduced to the graffiti movement. After one year of active painting in 1987 he became a member of the crews OTR (On The Run) and UTI (Under The Influence), both are crews with long history in Los Angeles and represent members such as El Mac, Kofie, Trixter and many more. In 1990 he managed to go all city in LA with his classic squared throw-up, and up until today he maintains his style and the spirit of the classic graffiti style of the city.
In 2012, after 30 years of absence, he came back to his native place together with his experience as a writer, and parts of this visit is what we want to share with you.‘
