‘Usually I make quite a few changes to a piece before I am ok to walk away from it. But this was one of those days that everything just came together without any plan and I didn’t have to battle with it to be satisfied with the outcome. It’s nice sometimes to spend 2 hours on something and still get the same feeling as a piece with 10 colours and lots of effects. The contrast of the black outline and the dark grey background really worked, the fluorescent green gave it that punch it needed to finish it.’
‘This one is very recent. I had a lot of fun painting this, it’s pretty simple but I learned a lot from this process like the importance of different size letters in a piece to make a good overall dynamic. Pieces become very static when all the letters are the same size, composition is so important to graffiti and learning how to mould and manipulate the letters so that they complement each other is a challenge every time. Im still learning a lot!‘
‘This last one was very enjoyable to paint, it was just flowing and I didn’t change anything at all. That day it all fitted in and work out and the colours really suited the raw concrete background. I spent about 2 hours on this with my friend Pref painting to the right. Painted with MTN 94, good times in the sun!‘
