The Barcelona gallery, Miscelánea, has placed their bet on Srger this January. Tomorrow, Thursday, January 8th, “El Espejo” will be open, a tripple-project; publication, exhibition, and video.
The show, curated by Sandy Fiocchetti, will present a composition of photographs, works on paper, an installation, and a wall intervention. The Sevillian artist has proposed an ample multimedia exhibition which will remain open to the public until January 31st.
‘Every thought is a consequence of what we lived. El Espejo (The Mirror) is a result of identifying oneself with situations, events, or simply objects that at first sight have no connection between one another, but extrapolated to other stages, they take shape and can be seen reflected in the past experiences.‘ (Srger)
The work or Srger evolves from modern, geometric graffiti and proposes a contemplation on the past and its consequences through deconstruction that’s driven towards an instinctive and spontaneous Suprematism.
