The global stature that graffiti has acquired in recent decades has caused us to not be surprised when seeing graffiti in unusual places. Even so, it is always comforting when we are able to appreciated an explosion of color in letter form within a context that’s distant to the classic “hall of fame” in big cities.
This piece by Japon in the middle of Rabat, Morocco, indulges that idea and demonstrates graffiti’s social acceptation outside of the usual context and prejudices in western cities.
