Rosh is a constant source of captivating textures and hypnotizing figures. A source of constant evolution on murals, paper, fabrics and big screens, transporting us to an idyllic world of black and white where aphrodites, soldiers, ink, and love all mix together.
Born in 1977 in Alicante (Spain), his path in graffiti began in 1989 making him one of the first writers in Elche, and a key part of the well known groups 333 and Pornostars.
Urban artist, illustrator, and designer, Rosh is constantly playing and experimenting with materials. He uses different formats, mediums, and techniques to express his restlessness. His graffiti brings about feelings of freedom and fun. His drawings reveal his most intimate side; his audiovisual projects portray the analytic side.
This first-time exposition at Montana Gallery Barcelona is an introductory presentation that shows us how intrinsic and complex this versatile artist is. It is a selection of eclectic and intuitive work where color and abstract shapes simply put together in a delicate and somewhat eerie vision of the world.
