The writer/artist from Seville, Ana Langeheldt, a.k.a. Lahe, spent the 11th, 12th, and 13th of this month, painting just one surface; a 2.5 meter high sculpture of a shoe for the ‘Modacalzado-Iberpiel’ fair which took place in the Ifema convention center.
Lahe, who draws inspiration from Klimt and her obsession with the femme fatal, aimed to “express these elements like a second skin on the high-heeled shot, using turquoise, coral red, and gold”.
Lahe’s shoe forms part of the ‘Shoe Street Art’ traveling exposition (inspired by ‘Cows on Parade’), with 30 sculptures made using fiberglass and polyester.
The exposition can be seen in ‘Modacalzado’ from November, and from there will travel to the main Spanish cities.
