NEW ERA, the baseball cap brand par excellence and ‘Originators of the True Fitted’ (The New Era 59FIFTY), celebrates its 90th anniversary. For this reason a competition was been launched, in celebration of the milestone, involving 90 talented graphic artists from the best universities in Europe applying the best of themselves to a special medium; the 59FIFTY. And as with all competitions, there were those who won and those who didn’t. On this occasion, the winner of the £10,000 prize, was the Londoner, Craig Green, from the Central Saint Martins University.
During November and December, you’ll be able to see an exhibition of the result of all of work put into the competition. After having passed through London (check the video below this lines) as well as Berlin and Milan, the exhibition now arrives in Barcelona’s; TODAY from 8.30 pm, in the ANGELS Gallery in the Raval (Angels, 16), before the tour ends, in Paris. Below, you can see a selection of some of the pieces of work which were entered.

We partnered with design school graduates, with varied interests in fashion, jewellery design, graphic design, street art, and a variety of other artistic genres, with the aim of creating an exhibition displaying the unlimited possibilities of raw creativity using the same canvas”.
