Last 7th of October, the GRAFIKA exposition curated by Mario Martín Pareja and produced by Contemporánea, opened in the ‘Instituto Cervantes‘ in Madrid. There were around 30 names on the program; some young talent on the graphic art scene and others who carved out their own path to notoriety by making some color noise on the street. Amongst them was: Rorro Berjano, Javier Calleja, Álex Castañeda, EME, Eltono, Fernando Elvira, Freak La Notte, Nuria Mora, Sergio Mora, Daniel Muñoz (SAN), Nano 4814, El niño de las pinturas, Okuda San Miguel, Ima Picó, Silvia Prada, Carlos Orta, Pepa Prieto, Almudena Rodríguez, J. J. Rosado, Gonzalo Rueda, Rubén Sánchez, Savage Girl, Seleka, Marta Serna, Sixeart, SpY, Emilio Subirá, Suso33, Antón Unai, and Zosen.
Here are some photos of the inauguration day, courtesy of Abalon, as well as a video from the organization so you can see the result. If you wanna see it up close, you have until the 15th of January.
We hope that this isn’t an isolated event, ‘cos there are lots more people out there working hard at their trade.
