Yesterday we mentioned experimental graffiti. Today, thanks to Goodfellas Magazine, we stumbled upon a interview with Taps & Moses on the web of Wertical. The german duo that surprised people in the graffiti world with the release of their book International Topsprayer are back on track with a expo at Ruttowski68 in Cologne, Germany, from the 1st of january and on. A quite interesting post that gives us a introduction to the two writers behind the names.
We no longer identify ourselves by individual names (…) We play with the rules, with the likes of the graffiti scene as well.
One of us is techinically gifted, another one is thoughful, while yet another works intuitively. We will be our own worst enemies if we were all equal.
GraffIti steps away from simply forming letters; it tells something instead…
Instead of sneaking into train depots thought back doors, we are entering them by their official entrances.
They say artworks are looked at fot 7 seconds on average… The general passenger might even never look at a spray-painted train.
