Neophron percnopterus, also known as the egyptian vulture, is a species in danger of extinction, a bird typical for the northern parts of Africa and the south of the Palaearctic region all the way over to India. The Bulgarian team 140 Ideas, has started a project together with the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds to create awareness about the threatening situation of this species, and as a extension, to remind us of the human awareness needed in questions of our environment and animal life. The mural, worth looking at in itself, is a reproduction of the natural habitat of this remarkable animal.
