123Klan, (Scien and Klor) are one of the most spoken of couples in international graffiti today. They have recently put themselves to work after their two decades of graffiti, celebrating it by releasing a collection of their last productions. Graffiti and design with distinct styles which goes deep into the art of typography, logos and characters is to be seen in this book.
Nothing less than 304 pages composes this enormous collection of works in a luxurious package (we where told it comes with a engraving in gold). All from graffiti murals with their particular lettering styles and iconography to designs on clothes and collaborations with writes like Dabs-Myla, Cope2, Rime, Flying Fortress… and the list is long. Designs, sign-painting, stickers, bombing…
Every sample of the book, which obviously comes signed by the artists, includes a double sheet of stickers.
‘A visual explosion, a mass of lumps and bumps, angles and recesses, mascots and symbols that stretch out ad infinitum, 123Klan has never stopped setting graphic ambushes. Extruded lettering, forays into cartoons and manga, and arrogance tinged with humor are just few of the ingredients in their outstanding portfolio. By harnessing vector drawing and the infinite possibilities it provides, they jacked up the intensity of their work and infiltrated the wall of publishing and publicity with all the raw energy of graffiti, smoothing down its edges without skimping on the effect.‘
