‘Txoria means bird.

The nickname was given to me many years ago in my hometown because I always painted birds and things related to them.

After all this time I sticked to the name, and another reference for us here in the basque country is the name of the famous song with the same name by Mikel Laboa, one of my favorite singers, which I had the pleasure to now in person, which really set a stage of my life.‘

We present the latest work of Txori·A in Calle Mayor de Tolosa in Guipúzcoa (Basc Country, Spain), made together with the organization GKo.

The shutters belongs to the old classic ‘Bar Cielo Grande‘, a cosy place that forms part of the streets history and remains in the memory of many people from there.
