Egowar continues with their enviable periodicity. Always faithful to their strict metros only politics, and now the Italian based magazine is back with their 11th issue.
This time they bring us down into 23 different metro systems during the journey of its 68 pages, where we also can find four different special reports.
The issue starts out hard with three masterpieces by the Mutants Derick, Dano and Dart, all from the metro of Vienna. To continue we take a brief visit to the United States, and to be exact, Philadelphia, NYC and Washington, once again perpetrated by european writers.
We couldn’t be without a review on what is happening in Athens before we move along to to a special about the Berlin crew Damagers. Yellow metros everywhere, and other systems which are brought back to light further on through a handful of pages dedicated to metro of the German capital city. All is rounded up by a double page with some amazing photography of Trus and Abis during a whole car action.
But before we are also bound to see a review of various classic metro systems such as Paris and Rome getting mixed with pages reporting from more exotic places like San Juan, Kuala Lumpur and Calcutta. The last one to be mentioned intervened by Evil, Luxus, Rumba and their friends who came to present some truly exquisite photos.
The MOAS special presents a selection of recent pieces only dedicated to the international groups crew name, all from the systems where their most active members roam. Is necessary to mention the fresh productions of the Monsters in Stockholm in alliance with the crew SBR.
And further more variety of systems presents a outstanding piece by Soten made in Barcelona, and others like one of Chaos in Rotterdam, before a nice report about ‘Northern Lights’. This presents 5 pages of photography by Victor Bergstedt; some really nice material with perfect ambience which helps us to come down a bit after so many pages of adrenaline of color.
But are thrown back into explicit material again for the last pages which shows us material from another 6 other systems, Mexico City, a classic review from Milan and 4 unusually well made and elaborated pieces from the Oslo metro just to name some of them.
This 11th issue shows us once again that we don’t have to make a choice between quantity and quality. Egowar keeps bringing us more fire from below… constantly. From here to anywhere.
We remind you that this magazine is available in Montana Shop Barcelona. From us at MTN-World we urge you to support these kinds of editorial publications, they are the backbone of this culture and keeps maintaining the most select flavor of real and authentic graffiti.
