On one social network or another, you’ve probably seen an image related to the incredible intervention carried out by the Germen collective in the Pachuca neighborhood of Mexico. It’s the largest mural to have been painted in Mexico, and it’s a marvelous, colorful masterpiece that took over a year of work to complete. It is interventions like these that once again demonstrate the transformative potential that urban art can have on the urban landscapes in cities, and the positive repercussion that it can have on the lives of its inhabitants. On Richard Lopez’s Vimeo channel we found this video about the extraordinary intervention that has showered the Las Palmitas neighborhood with color.
