The multidsiciplinary collective Subset periodically sends us the works they have made with MTN paint. Their versatile aesthetics becomes latent in the works where a more advanced aerosol technique is required.
“The selected portrait of Beckett has been reimagined in an abstract manner which is informed by the design technique of “data bending”.
The lines of code housed within the graphics have been spontaneously rearranged using the programme Text Editor. As a result the pixels have been adjusted horizontally and the RGB channels have been altered thus creating the exhibited glitch effect.”
And, since the audiovisual format has no way of escaping their range of skills, the Instagram of this Irish crew therefore offers a variety of videos and animations which easily creates interest due to their extraordinary interventions.
