Roadsworth is an artist from Montreal who began his career in street art for activist reasons. What started out as him demanding for the creation of more bike lanes, quickly transformed into an iconographic language on the ground executed with stencils. Having been arrested in 2004 for 53 vandalism charges, Roadsworth continues his artistic career by participating in festivals and exhibitions which have led him to collaborating with Amnesty International, Cirque du Soleil and Le Tour de France.
In taking advantage of his participation in the latest edition of ÚsBarcelona, Wallspot interviewed this peculiar artist with the aim to spread knowledge about the evolution and meaning of his work that has been influenced by social activism and land-art.
