Sarıyer is the new location add to the 2018 edition of the Mural Instanbul festival; the most important street art festival in Turkey. Between September 3-25, three Turkish artists were responsible for giving color to the facades of the municipality located in the area bordering Bosphorus detroit, near the Black Sea. We leave you a brief description of each one.
- Leo Lunatic
This famous Turkish graffiti artist who’s been active since the early 2000s is renown for his panda bear characters. His wall was executed with acrylic paint and aerosols in 3 days.
- Esk Reyn
Sculptor, street artist and co-founder of the festival, his mechanical forms work the concept of metamorphosis. In spite of the hard rainfall, he managed to finish his project in 9 days.
- Max on Duty
A talented illustrator and street artist painted two gigantic cats after also doing a small introduction in the district of Kadikoy. It took the Turkish artists 5 days to finish the job.
