  • Message-personal motivation: Maybe when I started I was motivated by getting out of my house and leave a trace everywhere.  The ritual: hanging out with friends, load paint, sticks, step ladders … explore the city, the towns, or the margins of the highways or the train tracks.
    Those absurd stories loaded my batteries.
    That is still working in some way, but it has been mixed with  the interest I have had towards graphic narrative, drawing or writing. It has become important that those elements that I paint in some way say something about the place where they are made. I like to go to a new place and get ideas there, draw and learn from people and filter that with my interests of the moment. I never know what will happen in the end and that uncertainty while I’m painting is what hooks me to see what will be next.
