Post-neo-cubism is a term invented by Belin that perfectly defines the renown Linares artist’s work aesthetics. The combination of his recognizable spray paint hyperrealism and a certain experimentation with forms that deconstruct portraits by contrasting different planes, make up the identifying symbols and characteristic language of Belin’s current work.
Post-neo-cubism was also the title he chose for the exhibition hosted by the Hotel Emperador in Madrid, held during the first two weeks of March. The exhibition was part of Madrid Art Week and the inauguration included all sorts of artistic events and performances. Negare Art Projects allows us to relive this unique experience through their eyes, with a video specifically dedicated to the painting that Belin completed on one of the exhibition space windows.
