The artist has gone for the technique of “Green Screen” to capture an interactive piece that requires a mobile device.
The latest proposal of the 12+1 project of Contorno Urbano held in Barcelona touches a kind of style of enhanced reality. Degon is a graffiti artist whose work can be classified as a style we label as “CGI” and has this time executed a composition that thanks to the presence of green color becomes a window to a new dimension. If you want to see the effects of this work beyond the physical result that we present here with the pictures of Clara Antón, look for the video of the intervention in our official Instagram.
“Aware of the growing importance of social networks and the internet, he takes advantage of the digital environment where his works are displayed, to experiment with techniques such as chroma or small animations. With works such as the one made in the 12+1 project, he can complete his interventions beyond the physical space, allowing viewers to reflect on the color games of a piece or how it can be transformed through the imagination. Through a graphic style closer to the world of design and a green background to be used as a chroma, image, video and digital edition are mixed with physical intervention. In this way, it is intended to dilute the border between the tangible and the digital.”
