Shook launches a video with 2Art featuring unique illegal graffiti on the streets of Paris.
Famous for her devastating street tags, Parisian writer Shook’s graffiti has evolved towards experimental aesthetics, using drips and splatters as her trademark. Joining forces with 2Art, they’ve released a video that is truly a declaration of intent.
Throughout the 10 minutes of footage we accompany the pair in the dark of night, bearing witness to various missions ranging from pieces and tags with spray paint to risky interventions with rollers. The highlight of the missions is a piece they painted with roller paint on three floors of the facade of a building that says “ANTIPOLITICS,” a message that, as we can imagine, is conceptually linked to the powerful protests currently happening on the streets of Paris.
