- Personal motivation-message: If when I started painting they had told me that one day I was going to live on this, I would not have believed it and I would only have laughed. When I started in graffiti I think my motivation was very based on the ego, that people could see my work, and they knew who I was and all that. Over time, that has been changing or evolving, rather, what used to be a hobby, an escape or a form of fun, is now my job (and this does not mean that it is not fun), I’m sure that much of the success I have had so far is that I love what I do, I like to be active and creative in whatever way I can. My most recent motivation is Oliver and Luna, they are my children and it is because of them that I make an effort that not only my work, but my person is better day by day, they take me out of my comfort zone and force me to see the world from a fresher and more curious perspective. It is the same thing that has led me to work with simple, recognizable and legible forms, to return to basic forms, although the content is made up of somewhat complex ideas. As for a message, I don’t know if there is one in my work, I constantly address the issue of spirituality, being awake and aware of our surroundings, I believe more than a message, I could say that there is an intention, every time I paint I like to think that it helped to put a little color in the day of a spectator, that that wall breaks with the monotony in the way to work or school and that hopefully it will even make them smile. I paint with my feet firmly planted on the ground and my head high up in the sky, to know where I am and where I want to go with my work.
