Bruce & Mina take us for a walk in their mixed universe where, just like the creation of a garden, their artistic practices are often submitted to regular changes, mutations, and natural growth with an energy coming from their parallel practise of graffiti.
The minimalist compositions and various curves that compose Bruce’s work merge to the freehand designs of Mina where her taste for drawn shapes shows through a wandering between abstraction and figuration.
This exhibition looks like a kaleidoscope of experiences, feelings and images collected by the two artists during the years of work in their shared studio of Berlin, therefore mixing their artistic point of views.
Then, their additions and adaptations form part of their creative daily routine, in a spirit of freshness and simplicity directly expressed… in a word: natural.
