Calladitos was born as a project of muralism and illustration under the union of Mexican artists Ariadna Galaz and Jorge Peralta. Calladitos is the manifestation of a universe created by their imagination, inhabited by luminous characters, magical and colorful places.
Creating and imagining the lives of these characters became an exercise in which the two artists found a way to assimilate and understand important themes of their own existence, such as friendship, brotherhood, loneliness and death. As the characters grew and matured, the creators themselves grew and matured along with them.
Montana Gallery Barcelona presents the story of “Bolla Cebolla”, where we meet the three little protagonists: Puc, Carmín and Abuelito. Through 12 chapters, we will enter the universe created by the imagination of two restless minds, exploring the landscapes they have built and discovering the raison d’être of giants and magical creatures.
The works presented are ideas that were born and transformed into characters and places with a life of their own. The result is a universe that manifests itself through the exercise of playing with art and colors.
